Deepening their knowledge of logic programming, our first-grade students created a digital interactive representation of their faces and bodies using Scratch Jr. After exploring the names of those body parts and Scratch Jr.’s main tools, they were able to draw and take pictures to create interactive schemes and also to explore expressive language in English, recording audios to name some of our body functions, for example, “With my head, I can think!”. Later, families will have the opportunity to see the projects; but first, you can ask your son or your daughter what their favorite Scratch Jr. tool was!
